I was casually browsing on Instagram and came cross the featured image on the popular pages, I immediately hunted down the source of these images who turned out to be Talented London based Makeup Artist – Tinuke Benson-Idonije popularly known as Makeup by TBI.
She was so gracious when I contacted her to share how she created these looks. These images were produced from her Black Bridal Look book Collaboration with Photographer – Abi Oshodi.
See below the steps she took in creating the looks, Enjoy!
Begin by priming the face with Smashbox photo ready foundation primer and buff in MAC Matchmaster Foundation in a mix of 7 & 7.5. Conceal any imperfections with MAC Pro long Wear Concealer and highlight with Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. For Longevity, Set with a mix of Ben Nye powder in both Topaz and Banana. Finally dust MAC Mineralised skin finish in Dark all around the face for warmth and a natural finish.
On the eyes is a mix of House of Tara’s Trio eyeshadow with emphasis on the shade – Ovialeke. Finish off the eyes with MAC Blacktrack gel liner and Ardell Strip lashes – 120.
Using House of Tara’s Blush palette she mixed a couple of shades to warm up the cheeks and contoured using MAC Studio fix powder in NW58.
Line the lips with MAC chestnut lip liner, blend this out and finish with a clear gloss.
On the eyes Tinuke used shades from MAC keepsake eye palette in plum eyes ( Unfortunately this was a limited Edition product).
Line the eyes with MAC gel liner in Blacktrack and Ardell lashes in 120.
On the lips, start by lining the lips with MAC lip liner in Vino and apply MAC Viva glam Rihanna 2 shade to the middle of the lips softly blending out.
On the eyes is a mix of MAC eyeshadows in Sushi Flower and Star Violet.
The lips were defined firstly with MAC Lip liner in Currant and filled in with Wet and wild Lipstick in Cherry picking 965.
Absolutely Gorgeous work by Tinuke and her Team.
